Winbond's Sustainability Action: Love the Earth with Green Actions
River Cleanup at Taichung (Winbond X Wilderness)
Fazi River is the most ecologically intact stream in Taichung's densely populated area, providing long-term nourishment to the residents of Taichung City. To preserve the fresh appearance of Fazi River, a total of 72 Winbond employees and their families joined hands with the Wilderness Conservation Association for a creek cleanup event on August 3, 2024. Colleagues, along with their children, explored the wonders of nature and jumped into the stream to pick up trash, collectively removing 74 kilograms of waste. Through this cleanup action, participants strengthened parent-child bonds and taught the children the importance of protecting nature. Everyone gained a deeper appreciation for the value of environmental actions.

Wetland Cleanup at Kaohsiung Yuanjhong Harbor Wetland (Winbond X Wilderness)
To conserve the Kaohsiung Yuanjhong Wetland Park, 26 Winbond employees and their families participated in a cleanup and restoration activity on September 7, 2024. Despite temperatures exceeding 30 degrees, they braved the heat to remove a total of 63 kilograms of waste, including plastic and glass bottles. Although their clothes were soaked with sweat, the team’s efforts showcased Winbond's resilience and commitment to environmental initiatives, offering participants a profound understanding of the importance of environmental protection.

Beach Cleanup at Hsinchu (Winbond X Wilderness)
After the river and wetland cleanups, a total of 112 Winbond employees and their families took on the challenge of a beach cleanup in Nanliao, Hsinchu, on September 28, 2024. With Typhoon Sandalwood approaching, strong winds and sand battered the participants, yet they persisted despite the harsh weather. Together, they cleared large pieces of waste from the harbor, totaling 521.2 kilograms of trash, bringing noticeable improvements to the coastal environment. This event not only heightened awareness of marine pollution but also demonstrated the perseverance and determination of the Winbond team. Through their collective efforts, they helped safeguard a cleaner coastline while further strengthening the team's environmental awareness.
