As the global trend of corporate sustainability became increasingly prominent, we officially announced that Winbond joined the “2025 TALENT, in Taiwan – Taiwan Talent Sustainability Action Alliance,” demonstrating our commitment to corporate social responsibility through concrete actions. We promoted human rights protection, diversity and inclusion, employee well-being, and career development, underscoring our strong dedication to talent sustainability.
1. Purpose and Value
The company actively conveyed the purpose and meaning of work, enabling employees to recognize its value. Senior executives led by example, publicly advocating a clear corporate culture. In 2024, we updated our Human Rights Policy, committing to internationally recognized human rights standards as the highest guiding principles. We focused on diversity and inclusion, elimination of employment discrimination, prohibition of inhumane treatment, provision of grievance mechanisms, and ethical business practices, integrating these principles into daily operations.
2. Diversity and Inclusion
The company continuously cultivated a culture of diversity and inclusion, actively promoting DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) thinking. This included global talent recruitment, diverse workforce utilization (e.g., hiring visually impaired massage therapists), support for multinational teams (e.g., 2024 Global Admin Summit, DEI celebrity lectures), and skill enhancement training (e.g., foreign language learning subsidies).
3. Compensation and Incentives
Talent was regarded as a key asset of the company. We offered competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including base salary, allowances, bonuses, and rewards. In 2024, we continued to be listed as a constituent stock of the “Taiwan High Salary 100 Index.” A dual-track talent development system was established, allowing employees to choose between managerial or technical career paths based on personal development. We also held public recognition and award ceremonies to appreciate employees’ efforts and achievements, enhancing retention and morale.
4. Physical and Mental Well-being
We were committed to creating a friendly workplace free from discrimination and oppression. In collaboration with the Employee Counseling Center, we provided comprehensive consultation services. We deployed nurses beyond regulatory requirements to offer 24-hour health management and partnered with teaching hospitals to establish green channels for emergency medical assistance. Employees were encouraged to maintain work-life balance. In 2024, we received the Ministry of Labor’s “Work-Life Balance Award – Family Friendly,” the 1111 Job Bank’s “Happy Enterprise Gold Award,” and the Southern Taiwan Science Park’s “Outstanding Enterprise for Promoting Workplace Equality,” reflecting our strong emphasis on employee well-being.
5. Development and Growth
Based on corporate strategy and core culture, we planned diverse training and development programs. We continuously cultivated AI capabilities, promoted the application of M365 Copilot and AI tools, and provided management development plans and rotation mechanisms for supervisors at all levels to foster cross-disciplinary competencies. In 2024, we established the “Manager Training Committee” to strengthen international competitiveness.
6. Communication and Experience
Winbond respected employees’ rights to assembly and association. We held regular communication meetings and offered multiple grievance channels, allowing employees to file complaints with their names or anonymously. We also conducted regular surveys on core values and engagement, with 97% of employees expressing willingness to continue contributing over the next five years, demonstrating high levels of employee recognition and participation.
We remained committed to optimizing human resources policies, promoting diversity and inclusion, a healthy workplace, career development, and communication mechanisms. Together with #CommonWealth Learning and #500+ Alliance Partners
